 Join us for the Winter Bird Festival—a free, family-friendly event celebrating winter wildlife! Enjoy bird-watching walks, crafts, and an interactive live animal presentation where you can get up close with birds and other wildlife. Discover fascinating facts about winter bird species in expert-led sessions, try hands-on activities for all ages, and explore offerings from local vendors. Perfect for bird lovers and curious beginners alike—bundle up for a day of nature, learning, and fun!

 Live Presentations: 

	9:00 a.m.	Get a close-up view of bats and learn about the importance of inviting them to your yard or farm!  With years of experience, Corky will delight you with her extensive bat knowledge!
	10:00 a.m.	Director Kelli Moulden’s mission is to inspire respect for local and migratory birds through customized and entertaining educational programs.  Enjoy a fantastic opportunity to see and experience hawks, owls, and water birds up close and personal.  Yes, the birds are coming to visit!
	11:00 a.m.	Meet our wildlife ambassadors! Back by popular demand, these wild creatures have sustained injuries that prevent them from surviving in the wild or were kept as illegal pets.  The Conservation Ambassador team delights tens of thousands of school children every year with a message of conservation and appreciation for the earth’s natural wonders.  Join us in welcoming these animal ambassadors and learn about each one’s special place on our earth.
	12:00 p.m.	Our falcons will bring five to six birds of prey, Experience different birds of prey, their role in the environment, the history of falconry and how falconers have contributed to the conservation of birds of prey and their environment.  Including a flight demonstration of a falcon, hawk and owl.
