The City of Galt receives request from nonprofits organizations, service clubs, and other requesting to co-sponsor various activities, or to waive temporary use permit fees and/or rental fees for the use of City facilities.    Recognizing the value of partnering with local organizations and the benefits to the community while still upholding its fiscal responsibilities, the City has established the following policy to direct when fees may be waived, or co-sponsorship approved.

We value the dedication and partnership of our sponsors and strive to build lasting relationships that benefit both our community and our supporters.  Returning sponsors are granted 4 weeks priority renewal period from the date.  After this period, any remaining opportunities are made available to new sponsors eager to join our program. We welcome new partners to connect with us early so they can be first in line when openings become available, ensuring they too can enjoy the visibility, recognition, and benefits of supporting our events.

Helpful application tips

• All sponsorship applications are accepted at the City Clerk's Department from the 1st (first)Monday of February starting at 8:00 a.m. through the 3rd (Third) Thursday of March up to 5:00 p.m. for consideration of the upcoming fiscal year.  No applications will be considered for the upcoming fiscal year, if received on or after 5:01 p.m. on the 3rd (third) Thursday of March.
• Proof of current 501 (c)3 non-profit status
• Provide copy of promotional event or activity material.
