Welcome to the City of Galt Community Events Calendar, a resource dedicated to promoting local events within our community. Our goal is to enhance visibility for event organizers and create a centralized hub where residents can easily discover and engage with the diverse range of activities happening in our City.

If you are interested in submitting your event to our calendar, please review the guidelines below and submit your application by clicking "Submit Your Event Online." 

By submitting your request, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Community Events Calendar guidelines of the City of Galt and represent that all information provided in the application is true and correct.

To maintain the effectiveness and relevance of the calendar, we have established the following guidelines:

1. The community events calendar is limited to advertising for community-based events that are sponsored by the City, or local government agencies, local non-profit organizations, civic groups, or churches.
2. Political, commercial, religious, sectarian events, or private parties or events not otherwise generally open to the public are not allowed.
3. The City reserves the right to deny a request to post an event on the community events calendar if it doesn’t comply with these requirements.
4. The postings for the events on the community calendar shall be coordinated by the Community Engagement Analyst.
5. Requests shall not be accepted more than ninety (90) days in advance of the event.
6. All requests will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis.
7. The event organizer is responsible for ensuring that all event details, such as the date and time, are accurate when submitting an application.
8. Please submit your event flyer as an attachment to your application. It should include all event details and your organization's logo.
