The Central Shop is under the Facilities Maintenance Division and is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the City’s vehicle fleet from cars to heavy trucks. The City currently has approximately eighty vehicles.
The Central Shop is also responsible for maintaining equipment needed for day to day and emergency operations including stationary and portable generators, tractors, backhoes, air compressors, and other equipment.
The Supply Technician works out of the Central Shop and is responsible for purchasing supplies and materials to support the operations and maintenance of the Public Works Department.
