Are you interested in knowing how many car burglaries, thefts, or any crime that has occurred in your neighborhood? The LexisNexis Community Crime Map allows community members to search such information. The LexisNexis Community Crime Map compiles crime data and other information from local law enforcement agencies to make it easier for citizens to stay informed about crime and/other activity citywide. This program also allows community members to sign up for crime alerts and filter data by address or city.
The Galt Police Department uses LexisNexis Community Crime Map to provide an overview of designated crimes within the City of Galt city limits. The crime icons are intended to indicate the block in which the crime allegedly occurred. Information shown is for the time period selected by the user and updated daily.
Please note this is a representation of crime and is not all-inclusive. This service does not reflect official crime index totals as reported to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting program. The number of crimes in tables and reports may not be fully reflected in the map due to address data not geocoding.
Please also keep in mind many agencies use this service to share crime data with their communities. Data or information from other agencies is not accessible by members of the City of Galt Police Department and we will not be able to provide you with information for those agencies.
