On behalf of the members of the Galt Police Department, I welcome you to our website. We consider it a privilege to serve you whether you are a resident, business, or visitor in our community. The Galt Police Department is a full-service police agency serving more than 26,000 residents. We have thirty-eight sworn officers and sixteen civilian staff, along with a number of volunteers who work to provide services to our community. The
 work done by our staff is guided by our motto: “Public Trust Through Professional Service.” It is our goal each day to meet this standard. I hope your experience with our organization is positive and helpful.
