Stay Connected: Although we are physically distancing ourselves from each other, the wonderful thing about technology is that you can connect with others digitally! Remember to connect with others by doing any of the following activities:
- Call or Facetime with a friend or relative.
- Write a letter.
- Support a local restaurant that offers take out or delivery services.
- Volunteer at a Food Bank, Meals on Wheels or other organization that helps provide much needed services to the community.
- Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including social media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting.
- Take care of your body. Take deep breaths, stretch, or meditate. Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals, exercise regularly, and get plenty of sleep. Make time to unwind.
- Take care of yourself, which can also include speaking with people about your concerns or feelings .
