The City of Galt has three (3) labor unions who are represented by the following bargaining groups, the Galt Police Officers Association, the Galt Police Department Civilians Association, and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 39.  The non-represented classifications include management, mid-management and professional/confidential. Employment with the City is subject to all applicable City personnel policies and procedures, as currently set forth in the City’s Personnel Policy Manual, which may be changed from time to time at the discretion of the City.
