The City of Galt provides miscellaneous discretionary public services, which are requested by businesses and residents, from time to time, and may charge service fees. The types of public services are distinguished from community-supported public services, which are paid for by City tax revenues. The various fees charged are in compliance with state law and are described in the City's Municipal Code. 

The City publishes a Citywide Fee Schedule annually, which includes both new and revised fees, posted on the Finance Budget page, located under current budget. 

The Finance Department Fee Schedule is updated annually and revised as required, outlining various services provided by the Finance Department and applicable fees.
