City Treasurer:  One (1) position with term ending 2028
City Clerk:  One (1) position with term ending 2028

FILING PERIOD FOR NOMINATIONS:
The nomination period for the 2024 General Municipal Election is July 15, 2024 - August 9, 2024.  If an incumbent fails to file nomination papers by August 9, 2024, the nomination period closes August 14, 2024, 5:00 pm.  Appointments for obtaining and filing nomination papers are required and can be requested by contacting the City Clerk at 209.366.7130 x7 or emailing clerk@cityofgalt.org.  Appointments will be scheduled during the hours of Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.  For Friday appointments, please contact the City Clerk. **Nomination period has been officially extended to August 14, 2024, 5:00 pm.
