Per state law, maps are to be received 7 days prior to public hearing date.  If not received within the required time frame, maps submitted will be reviewed at the next scheduled public hearing.

Proposed sequencing for all maps:
Odd districts:  2026
Even districts:  2028

Each by-district map must follow this set of ranked Districting Criteria:

• Relatively equal in size – total deviation is under 10%
• Contiguous – election districts are one whole piece and don’t jump from one area of the district to another with gaps in between
• Maintain communities of interest
• Easily identifiable and understandable lines, following natural (rivers, mountains) and man-made boundaries (main thoroughfares, highways)
• Keep election districts compact – election districts should be more circular or rectangular, and not snaking lines or ribbons
