I have called Galt home for the past 25 years. I came to the United States from India in my early 20s after graduating with my Bachelors. I worked in a variety of different jobs and landed a job with the United States Postal Service. I went on to take an early retirement opportunity from my management position and 25 years with the USPS. Shortly after, I became a local business owner here in Galt. I have served for six years on the Planning Commission for the City of Galt, as both Chair and Vice Chair. I am also a board member on the Galt Chamber, and involved in many local non-profit organizations such as Galt Sunrise Rotary and Galt Shop Local. I am very involved in our great community.

I bring a unique perspective to Council with my management background in both business and government, as well as Planning. I look forward to working with the citizens of Galt and the city and improving our quality of life and moving forward in a positive direction.
