As lifelong resident of Galt, I have dedicated myself to serving my community.  I have been president of the Galt Joint Union High School Board, a member of the Galt Planning Commission, the Economic Development Commission, and various bond projects and committees.

In my younger years, I delivered the Galt Herald and mowed lawns for extra money,  During grade school, my brothers and I owned and operated a small bicycle shop during the summer months.  I was an active member of the Galt Chamber of Commerce when I was in the 8th grade.  After graduating from Galt High School, I attended a professional photography trade school, then for 15 years, I was the head coach for the Galt High School football team, and also served as president of the local youth sports programs before the city had a Parks and Recreation Department.  I started my business career with 15 years of self-employment and then managed corporate businesses in manufacturing, structural steel, repair services, environmental services, and facilities.  

I have a deep love for our community and its people.  My wife and I raised our daughter here and now my grandkids also call Galt their home.  I believe it is important to give back to the community where you live and I am honored to work for the citizens in making thoughtful decisions that will benefit our families now and in the future.
