Gora Aquatic Center Waterslide Grand Opening

Join us on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Gora Aquatic Center as we celebrate the opening of our new 30-foot waterslide.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Kick off the event with light refreshments and a special giveaway for the first 25 children in attendance. City Council members will take the ceremonial first ride down the slide.
Please note: Public swimming will not be available during this time.

Grand Opening – Public Swim | 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
The waterslide will officially open to the public. Guests are invited to enjoy the new feature during regular public swim hours.
