Public Participation
Members of the public may give public comment on items agendized for City Council meetings and on any subject within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City Council during general public comment.  Public comment gives the City Council an opportunity to hear and consider the views of the community before it makes decisions.

You may submit a written public comment prior to the meeting to pubcom@cityofgalt.org by 4:00 pm on the day of the meeting.  Written public comments will not be read out loud during the meeting; however, comments will be distributed to City Council, made part of the official minutes, and posted publicly on the City's website.

Members of the public attending a City Council meeting may give public comment by submitting a speaker card (located at both entrances in the Council Chambers) to the City Clerk.

Remote participants may offer public comment via Zoom by using the link listed on the agenda.  You must download the Zoom app or software.  Zoom meetings can be accessed by telephone, computer, or smart device.  When the Mayor invites public comment for the item on which you would like to comment, please use the "raise hand" function or press *9 if connecting via telephone only.

Disability Assistance
If disability related modifications or accommodations, including auxiliary aids or services, are needed to participate in this meeting, or if you wish to make arrangements to give or receive live translation into a language other than English, please contact the City Clerk's office, (209) 366-7130 x7, 380 Civic Drive, Galt, CA, at least two days prior to the meeting.
